Jerry Mack Replogle

Mr. Replogle was born on March 30, 1936 to the late Floyd and Mary Cain Replogle of Jackson. He married Sandra Cawthon of Jackson on July 1, 1956. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; a daughter Jeri Replogle Bennett (Dave) of Ashburn, VA; a son, Marc Replogle (Kristin) of Woodstock, GA; 2 grandchildren, Alli Elaine Replogle, 19 and James Matthew Replogle, 15; a brother, DeRoy Replogle (Dot) of Jackson; and a sister, Norma Lovett (Jim) of Memphis.

Jerry graduated from Jackson High School in 1954 and attended Union University. He was a member of First Baptist Church. In his younger years, he was employed as a surveyor by the Madison County Highway Dept., and as House Manager for the American Legion, Post 12. He also served in the Army National Guard. Later, he worked in sales until poor health forced him to retire. All who knew him could count on him for a good laugh and to lift their spirits with a multitude of entertaining stories. He will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be held Thur., Mar. 6 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at George A. Smith & Sons North Chapel, and Fri. from 12:00-1:00. Funeral services will be Fri., Mar. 7 at 1:00 at North Chapel, officiated by Rev. Justin Wainscott, followed by a burial service in Ridgecrest Cemetery. Immediately after the burial, all family members are invited to First Baptist Church for a small reception. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or First Baptist Church of Jackson.
