George F. Scoggins Jr., 76, of Keaau passed away on January 27, 2022. He was born July 13, 1945 in Ewa Beach, Hawaii and retired as a bus driver for the Laupahoehoe Transportation Service.
He is survived by companion, Jackie Benton-Ching; sons, Dylan Keoki (Shyanne) Scoggins of Hilo, Donovan K. Scoggins of California; daughter, Ellie Benton of Keaau; brother, Harold W. Scoggins of Oahu; step brothers, Alvin A. Akina Jr. of Kona, John H. Akina of Hilo; sisters, Catherine Manewa of Keaau, Frances “Gail” (Wilder) Lee of Keaau, 2 grandchildren, an uncle as well as numerous cousins.
