Luis Rene Avila

Our beloved Luis Rene Avila age 49, gained his wings on Tuesday, August 22, 2023. Rene was born in Leon Guanajuato, Mexico. Raised in Los Angeles, California at the age of 2 years old. He is survived by his loving mother, son, sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews who will miss him deeply. He was a gentle soul and had the biggest heart. His laugh was contagious, and he was loved by everyone that crossed paths with him. He had a love for cars and enjoyed helping everyone with their cars. He loved his job at Jiffy Lube and was such a hard worker that he would even work on his days off. He loved the Dodgers, Dallas Cowboys, and the Lakers. Aside from work and his hobbies he had a passion for helping anyone that needed anything, from big too small. He would give even if it meant it was his last. We will forever miss his heart, his humor, his silent laugh, and his excessive sharing of social media videos. We loved you all your life and we will love and miss you for the rest of ours.

A visitation for Rene will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Katy Funeral Home, 23350 Kingsland Blvd, KATY, TX 77494.

A funeral service will occur Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 23350 Kingsland Blvd, KATY, TX 77494.

A catered reception will occur Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
