Mary Edna Campbell Feathers

Mary Edna Campbell Feathers, 74, passed away peacefully from this life to an eternal home in heaven, Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at home surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren. Mama’s love will be missed. Mama was born on January 21, 1941in Johnson City, Tennessee, a daughter of the late James Paul “Buster” Campbell and Liola “Ode” Adams Campbell.

Her love of cooking, baking, making candy, canning, long rides along the river and finding beauty in every flower she saw has given us memories we will forever cherish.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy VanDyke, Roy “Weebe” Campbell, Paul “Dooley” Campbell; infant daughter, Leathea Feathers and the father of her children and love of her life, Lyle R. Feathers. Mary leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Shona Feathers Stoots and her husband Barry, Kimberly Feathers Trent; six grandchildren, Brooke Story and husband Jason, Stacy Jones, Brittney Ferguson, Sarah Trent, Laura Trent and Luke Ferguson; one great granddaughter, Alexis Hope Jones; two sisters, Norma Wilson and husband Lester and Barbara Lowe; one brother, Charlie Campbell and wife Eva; and several nieces and nephews. And her very special dachshund, Mossimo Joe.

Please join us to honor the life of our mother at the graveside service, Friday, May 22, 2015 at 5:00pm at Eden-Greenwood Cemetery, 1620 Mill Springs Road, Jonesborough, TN., with Pastor Perry Cleek officiating. Active pallbearers will be, Barry Stoots, Luke Ferguson, Kenneth VanDyke, Jason Story, Brandon Meade and Jeff Lowe. Honorary pallbearers will be, Lester Wilson and Dana Ramsey. A special thank you to those who helped care for Mama over the last three years. Praises to our Lord for His sustaining strength, mercy and love.
