Dennis was fiercely proud of his Scottish roots. He emigrated to Canada as a young man and had a prosperous career which began in downtown Toronto. He spent many years working for Toronto Dominion Bank and then CGI, and this work took him to many cities around the world. In his younger years Dennis enjoyed fishing, gardening, landscaping and cooking. He will always be remembered for making the best caesar salad dressing, stubbornly from memory so it can never be replicated. More than anything else, Dennis loved to read and was always surrounded by stacks of books. With all that reading, he would have been a great Jeopardy challenger.
Dennis is survived by his wife Lynda (Leigh) Wyatt (mother to Zach), his three daughters Elizabeth (Mike), Jennifer (Michael) and Alyson, five grand-children (Faith, Kinley, Adam, Madison and Michael), his sister Eileen and his niece Fiona.
Dennis was a simple man who never liked to be the centre of attention. At his request, there will be no formal service and his immediate family will return him to the earth. To celebrate his life please consider making a donation to CAMH or any cancer research group, or plant a rose in his memory.
