Rosemary Orsburn

She was born on August 10th, 1917 in Hemlock, IN to her parents James and Lola Etherington.

Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents, husband Francis Eldon Orsburn, step mother Lucy Wyrick Etherington, two sisters Sarah and Naomi Orsburn who passed in infancy, two step sisters, six step brothers, and daughter Janice Johnson.

Rosemary and Francis enjoyed square dancing, socializing, and working together on their farm prior to his passing. They traveled extensively throughout Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Russia to name a few. They traveled to Canada every year for over forty years where they enjoyed fishing. She was a member of the Center Chapter No 108 Order of Eastern Star in Kokomo for 50 plus years.

She is survived by her daughter Carolyn (Francis) McClain, grandchildren Stephen Johnson, Sharon (Douglas) Shane, Terry McClain, Diane (Joe) Dibble, David (Carey) Johnson, and Rex (Anna) McClain; great grandchildren Kent (Beth) Bickel, Kasey (Lisa) Bickel, Magie Johnson, Theodore (Leah) Shane, Trey (Danielle) Shane, Austin (Meghan)McClain, Evan (Kami) McClain, Ayden McClain, Addisyn McClain, Reghan Ingle, and Ryleigh Ingle. Rosemary is also survived by eight great-great grandchildren.

Services will be held Monday December 26th, 2016 at 1:00pm with visiting hours beginning at 11:00am at Eller Mortuary (3400 S Webster Street) with Pastor Lynn Coleman officiating. An Eastern Star service will be held at 12:45pm. Interment will follow at Albright Cemetery.
