He was born to the late Julian and Leona Angermeier in Louisville, Kentucky on February 24, 1931.
Jack retired from Ford Motor Company, served as a Navy Seal in the Korean War from 1950-1954, and played professional baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years; Gail Fischer Angermeier.
Left to cherish the memory of Jack are his children; John Angermeier (Annette), Patti Powell (Kenny), Vicki Sutherland (Dayle), Mark Angermeier (Julie) and Kathy Davis (Jeff), 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, sister; Sharon Angermeier, extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Jack's Life will be held at Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, 706 W Jefferson St, LaGrange, Kentucky 40031, on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 7pm with visitation starting at 11am until the start of the service.
Memorial donations in Jack's name can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
