Sara was a people person who loved nothing better than visiting and sharing a meal with you. And she preferred it to be boiled crabs or crawfish. She was also an avid gardener with a green thumb who loved sharing the fruits and vegetables she grew. All of her family and friends loved getting vegetables, eggs and especially her satsumas. She will be missed tremendously.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert James Manuel of Iowa, LA; her sister, Frankie Lanzalaco and husband Ken of Sulphur, LA; her sister in law, Dorothy Ledoux Anderson Pensacola, FL; her children, Kim Little and wife Candy of Carlyss, LA,Tana Pike and husband Mike of Iowa, LA, Kayla Vidrine and husband Ricky of Dequincy, LA,Telisa Burleson and husband Russell of Sulphur, LA and Marcey Manuel and wife Casey of San Leon, TX; 16 Grandchildren, 33 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, out laws and all of her very special friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Evelyn Anderson; her brothers, Chester Anderson and wife Elaine, Austin Andersen and wife Giuliana, and Charles Jr. (Toots) Anderson; her sister Peggy Halstrom.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles beginning at 1pm until the time of service. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be led by Celebrant Jody Barrilleaux beginning at 4pm.
