Angelo S. Dennis Angelo S. "Buck" Dennis died suddenly at his home on Monday, July 28, 2014. He was 80. Formerly of Philadelphia, Buck moved to the area in 1996. He worked as an elevator contractor with IUEC Local 5 for over 35 years before his retirement. Buck was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, boating and hunting, but his true passion was his membership with the Holmesburg Gun Club for many years. Beloved husband of the late Rosemary, Buck was the loivng father of Kathleen; stepfather of Patricia Getty (Dennis); and grandfather of Marc Getty. He was the brother of Bert Shubert, Mike, Louis and Robert Dennis and the late Joseph Dennis. Buck will also be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, from 9:00 until 11:00 am at the James J. Dougherty Funeral Home, Inc., 2200 Trenton Road, Levittown, where his funeral service will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Buck's name may be made to the National Emphysema Foundation, 128 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06851.
