LEXINGTON – Funeral services for Theresia K. Crawford, 81, will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, with interment to follow at Travis Park West Cemetery, Saluda, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to NAMI, P.O. Box 2526, Columbia, SC 29202-2526.
Mrs. Crawford was born March 8, 1938 in Niederndorf, Germany and passed away on August 16, 2019. She was a daughter of the late Johann and Margareta Gibfried. Mrs. Crawford was a member of Saluda Baptist Church for 33 years. Theresia loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will always be remembered as a loving wife and mother.
Survivors include her daughters, Sandra J. Crawford of Lexington, SC and Karen P Powell of Ninety-Six, SC; sons, John R. Crawford of Gaston, SC, Charles D. Crawford of Sandy Run, SC, and brother, Konrad Gibfried. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Douglas A Crawford and siblings, Georg Gibfried, Margareta Hetzel, Kunigunda Bölsterling, and Hildegardt Tammer.
Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
