Frances A. Willis, 94, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016 in West Orange, NJ. Born in Newark, Frances was a longtime resident of Livingston where she was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Livingston. She was also a long-time and active member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Livingston VFW Post 2856, serving as secretary for 30 years, a member of the Oak Leaf Club, and a member of the Livingston chapter of the AARP where she was known to have everyone laughing at her stories and jokes. She was also a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts of America.
Frances was predeceased by her beloved husband, Eugene J. Willis. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and her dear friends.
Funeral service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11AM at the Presbyterian Church of Livingston 271W. Northfield Road, Livingston, NJ. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, NJ. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, Livingston. In lieu of flowers, donations in France’s name may be made to the Presbyterian Church of Livingston.
