

Stephanie “Stevee” Ann Hines Malone, age 65 passed away unexpectedly on April 24, 2016 in San Luis Obispo, California with her family close by her side. Born on October 10, 1950 in Fresno California, she was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy R. and Walter M. Hines. She is survived by her two daughters, Tyler and Blake Malone of San Luis Obispo, California. She is also survived by her sisters Lynda Alexander (Bob) of Sarasota Florida, Joan Collins (John) of Fresno, California, and brother Jim Hines (Catherine) of Fresno, California, three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered for her witty humor and the joy she brought to everyone she knew. She enjoyed living in Morro Bay and spent her recent retirement years basking in the sunshine and salty air of Morro Strand Beach with her many rescue dogs. We will always remember her driving in convertible silver Miata with her golden retriever "Bouchee” sitting copilot. Her music turned up high, a beautiful smile on her face and her hair blowing in the wind. She had been newly retired from a successful career in the health care field where she built lasting relationships and forged many lifetime friendships. She contributed over 25 years of her life to Sierra Vista Hospital in San Luis Obispo, California. She touched many people’s lives and was greatly adored by her peers and loved deeply by her family. She will forever be known for her humor, laughter and immense love she had for her daughters, family and friends. She was an amazing mother, a loving grandmother, and the glue that held us all together. She is irreplaceable, and we will forever strive to honor the legacy she has left behind.
