Doris retired from Hawthorne Elementary School as a bookkeeper.
Doris was preceded in death by her loving husband Guthrie B. Stevenson.
She is survived by her daughters Becky Specht (Peter) and Jan Farris (Bruce); her sister Edna Mae Williams; and her grandchildren Terri Montgomery, Steve Farris and Rachel Farris.
A celebration of her life will be held Friday January 24, 2014, at 10 am, at the Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 until 8 pm. Burial will take place in Cave Hill Cemetery.
