Tony was born on March 15, 1955 in Glendale, Arizona to Antonio and Josefa Sifuentes. Their much anticipated first son; he was doted upon by his three older sisters.
Tony graduated from Apollo High School, then continued to excel in art classes and in the marching band playing trumpet at Glendale Community College.
In July of 1975, Tony joined the United States Navy. As a radio operator, he traveled overseas aboard the USS Jouett. He was honorably discharged in 1981.
Proudly wearing his crackerjack Navy uniform, Tony married Eva Preciado in August of 1978. They raised six children and helped raise their grandchildren.
Tony enjoyed playing guitar, hand-carving wood figures and painting beautiful landscapes. He had a zeal for books and research, especially physics, history, and the Holy Bible. He shared his knowledge with family and friends; whether it was help with math homework, learning a song on the piano, or questions about the Bible, he was ready to explain and teach.
Tony is preceded in death by his wife, parents, sister Dawn Muños, brother Isaac Sifuentes, and brother-in-law Dennis Varela.
Now that Tony is freed from the cares and sorrows of this life, may the Lord welcome him into heaven. May he find peace and joy with the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit forever.
Tony is loved and remembered by his children: Eli, Elila, Elissa, Adrian, Adriella (Eddie) Howard, Ebram, his many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and his brothers and sisters: Rachel (John) Tercero, Elizabeth (Javier) Escobedo, Jerry Sifuentes, Jonathan (Corina) Sifuentes, Rebecca Varela, Carolyn (Sheldon) Howard.
The funeral service will be held Monday, May 24, 2021 at Bible Baptist Church, 2023 Avenue C, Scottsbluff, Nebraska at 11am.
