Kenneth "Bulldog" Wayne Wars

Kenneth “Bulldog” Wars, 71, of San Augustine, was born May 25, 1948 in Lufkin, Texas, the son of the late Bernice Fitts Mosley and Bryant Wars. He passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 in a San Augustine hospital.

Kenneth loved his family. He was a long-time truck driver and enjoyed flea markets.

Survivors include his daughter, Ramona Elliott and husband Keith of Lufkin; sons, Kelley Wars and wife Karole of Livingston, Keith Wars and wife Connie Of Nacogdoches, and Kenneth Wesley Wars of Lufkin; grandchildren, Grace and Nathan Elliott, Kris Wars and wife Rebecca, Klint Wars and wife Devin, Kandice Wars, Angela Wars, Ryan Wars and Asleigh Chapman and husband Chris; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Kolin, Konner, Copper, and Finley; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Sue Mouser.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2020 in the Narrow Way Cemetery.

Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home.
