Carla J. Andrews

Carla J. Andrews, 62, of Loves Park passed away Saturday May 14, 2022 at OSF St. Anthony Hospital. Carla was born on May 3, 1960 in Rockford, the daughter of Wayne and Arlene (Steinhoff) Anderson. She married Clifford L. Andrews, Jr. on April 23, 1988. She worked for Clinton Electronics for 25 years. Carla attended Evans United Methodist Church and was a former member of TOPS. She liked coloring, unicorns, was an avid Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs fan. She loved being around her family and especially spending time with her grandson Bryce.

Carla is survived by her husband Cliff aka Lee; son: Clifford (Erica) Andrews; grandson Bryce Andrews; In-laws: Clifford (Wanda) Andrews; brothers-in-law: Randy Andrews, Kenny (Rachel) Andrews and Roy (Denise) Andrews; several aunts, nieces and nephews.

Carla was preceded in death by her parents Wayne (11/85) and Arlene (11/06); son Casey (4/94); brother Jeff (4/90); brothers-in-law Karl (1/96) and Richard (7/13); sister-in-law: Vicki Cox (12/20).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family.

Visitation for Carla will be Sunday May 22, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home 8800 N. Alpine Road in Machesney Park from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM; service to celebrate Carla’s life will be at 4:00 at the funeral home.
