Gloria A. Jacobs

An angel has been called home. Gloria H. Jacobs, 84, of South Beloit, peacefully passed away from our world to be with our Heavenly Father and join the love of her life, “Koko”, on February 25, 2013. Born on September 29, 1928 in Dubuque, Iowa, she was the daughter of Albert and Dorothy (Bertsch) Cady.

She loved to spend time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of GWRRA and loved taking trips with Koko on their trike.

Gloria is survived by her daughter, Debi (Cliff) Cron; grandchildren, Jenn (Nick) Hartman and Cody Cron; great grandchildren, Drake Olson and Katelynn Hartman; 2 brothers, a sister, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be deeply missed by her many friends and family.

She was predeceased by her husbands, Ray Jacobs and Lawrence Kokotkiewicz; her parents; 1 bother and 3 sisters.

Funeral service 2 p.m., Saturday, March 2, at Sunset Funeral Home, 8800 N. Alpine Road, Machesney Park. Pastor Ron Meyer officiating. Visitation from 12 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. Interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established in Gloria’s name at a later date.
