Lorraine M. Meuser

She was born April 28, 1917 in Woodstock to Obid Abner and Maybell (Blazier) Rea. On February 18, 1940 she married Robert C. Meuser.

Lorraine enjoyed writing poetry, reading Danielle Steel novels, and sewing. She loved to spend time outdoors and working in her garden. Her church was an important part of her life and she enjoyed time spent with the "Lunch Bunch." Her vacations with her husband to Arkansas and California created many fond memories. Lorraine also enjoyed the companionship of her Boston Terriers, Poodles, and parrot.

She is survived by her children, Robert (Jean) Meuser and Lynne (Jake) Sensor; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a great-grandson; a sister and a brother.

There will be a visitation from 10:30 to the 11am Memorial Service on Friday, June 8 at St. John's United Church of Christ, 17824 Jefferson St, Union.

Memorial donations may be made to Fair Oaks Nursing Home or to St. John's United Church of Christ.
