Andrea L. Davies

Andrea Davies, 71, of Ossian passed away on November 10, 2021 at River Terrace Health Care Center in Bluffton. Andrea was a member of the United Faith Presbyterian Church in Fort Wayne. She was an avid reader and was a member of the Parents without Partners club. Andrea loved bowling and taught Sunday school and sang in the church choir in her free time. She loved to laugh, enjoyed life and always kept an upbeat attitude during her battle with M.S.

Andrea was born on April 19, 1950 in Cortland New York. The daughter of the late Olon and Virginia (Corl) DeWolfe.

Survivors include a son: Andrew (Patricia Oakley) Davies of Fort Wayne; four sisters: Holly (Paul) Hughes of Ossian, Alicia Getts of Bluffton, Betsy (Don) Harris of Columbia City, Jacquline Chapin of Georgetown, NY; two brothers: Walt (Heather) DeWolfe of New Haven and Scott (Barb) DeWolfe of Ossian; Four Grandchildren: Kara Hartman of Fort Wayne, Amanda Butler of Columbia City, Shelby Oakley of Fort Wayne, and Katie Oakley of Fort Wayne; and 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers: Dirk DeWolfe and Mike DeWolfe and a great grandson Wyatt James Butler

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday November 19, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Markle Chapel, located at 415 N. Lee Street Markle IN 46770. We will be following the CDC’s and Indiana guidelines.
