Born October 21st 1949 to Evelyn Ruth Ruediger and James H. Stewart in Syracuse, New York. She married Dennis Brimley on March 10th, 1973 and moved to Michigan.
Susan worked at Walnut Elementary School for many years. After 19 years at Dart Container, she retired and split her time between caring for her grandchildren and working part time at Alaiedon Elementary School.
Through all of this, she achieved a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Northwood University.
Susan was a 4-H Leader during her sons' younger years and continued her love of crafts throughout her life, especially the numerous projects she shared with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis, and her sons, Andrew and his wife, Amanda, and Stephen, his wife, Jenny, and their children Olivia, Natalie, Sophia and Gavin. She is survived as well by her siblings Jackie Blakeslee, Karl Stewart, Clifford Stewart and Claudia Bedsole. Preceding Susan in death were her parents, James and Ruth Stewart.
Funeral services will be held virtually on Monday, September 21st, at 11:00 A.M.
