Phillip Frank Lossing, 58, of Moody, Texas passed away peacefully on Friday, July 19, 2019. An informal visitation will be 5:00 p.m. Thursday, July 25, 2019 at Cole Funeral Home in McGregor, Texas, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Phil was born on September 27, 1960 in San Angelo, Texas to Bud and Mary Ann Lossing. He graduated from Lorena High School in 1978. Phil married Sherry Quinteros on February 17, 1989 and in the summer of 1995; they welcomed their daughter, Kristen.
Phil was an honest, hardworking man who enjoyed living a simple and happy life. He devoted his life to taking care of his family and his closest friends. Prior to making a career out of commercial plumbing and HVAC construction, he enjoyed hauling cattle across the U.S. Phil had many stories to tell from his cattle hauling days, dairy days, and bull riding days. On a rare occasion, when he wasn’t working, he enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities. Phil loved camping near water so he could fish. He enjoyed cleaning his guns and target shooting on the weekends, but his favorite past time was being with his family and riding his horse, Pearl.
Proceeding him in death were his father, Bud Lossing and his son-in-law, Logan Fisher.
Survivors include his wife, Sherry Lossing; daughter, Kristen Fisher; grandsons, Landonn and Wade Fisher; mother, Mary Ann Lossing; his beloved horse, Pearl, goat, Nanny, and his three chickens.
