Martha Jean O'Donnell

Martha Jean O’Donnell of Memphis, age 81 of Memphis, Tennessee passed away November 11, 2019 at the Kings Daughters and Sons Nursing Home in Bartlett, TN. Born August 23, 1938 in Henderson, Kentucky to the late Cevial and Mary Blanford Duncan.

A gathering of family and friends will be held November 19, 2019 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. followed with a Rosary service all at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 3700 Highway 51 N., Memphis, TN 38127.

Funeral mass will be the next morning beginning at 11 o’clock at the church officiated by Fr. Bryan Timby. Mrs. O’Donnell will be buried at the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.

Along with her parents, Martha was preceded in death by husband, Cornelius “Odie” and son, Patrick O’Donnell.

She is survived by sons, Cornelius “Neil” O’Donnell (Edie) and Michael O’Donnell (Linda); eight grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandsons.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be offered to Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Mrs. O’Donnell’s honor.
