Dwain was born April 23rd, 1943 in Covington, TN to Roy and Maude Wilson, who preceded him in passing. He grew up with his sister Jean James, who now lives in Nesbit, MS. In addition to Jean, Dwain is survived by five children - Todd and Lori Wilson of Hoover, AL, Ron and Sue Wilson of Cordova, TN, Rachel and Chris Boyd of Bartlett, TN, Courtney and Tom Lott of Arlington, TN, and Parker and Amy Wilson of Oakland, TN. He also leaves behind 12 grandchildren - Bailey, Kirby, Kristina, Colton, Elijah, Conner, Hayden, Lily, Kelsey, Jake, McKenzie and Shepard. Dwain is also survived by two great grandchildren - Harper and Quinley. In addition to Roy and Maude, Dwain was preceded in passing by his loving wife Peggy.
Dwain graduated in 1961 from Southside High School, where he was proudly a drum major. He spent much of his working years in retail sales and management, retiring from Murphy USA in the early 2000’s.
There are no plans for a memorial service at this time.
