Jewell M. Cook, 91, of Mansfield, Texas (formerly of Midland, Texas) passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015 after a brief Illness. She was born on October 8, 1924 in Denton, Texas and, later, the family relocated to Midland. She was married to Mack Cook, who predeceased her in 2008.
She is survived by her children Sheila Freeman and husband Wayne of Longview, Texas; son, Mack Cook and wife Lori of Burleson, Texas; grandchildren Brian Stephens and wife Morgan of Longview, Texas; Shane Cook of Nocona, Texas; Cody Cook and wife Marianna of Bedford, Texas; Josh Cook and wife Amanda of Burleson, Texas; Christine Forsythe and husband of Fort Worth, Texas and Drake York of Burleson, Texas as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Ellis Funeral Home will be handling the arrangements. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Fairview Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude and thankfulness to the nurses and doctors of the Vitas Hospice facility in Fort Worth, Texas.
