Mary Alice Boller, age 58, of Sound Beach (formerly of Manhattan), NY, passed away on August 10. "Maly" was loved by family and friends and her treasured dog, Buddy. Maly was the sixth child in a family of seven children, and was the cherished daughter of Winifred and Dr. Raymond J. Boller of Flushing, NY. Maly's sisters Kathleen (John), Maureen (Tom), Margaret Mary (Jorge), Rosemary, Marybeth and her godfather and brother Raymond (Barbara), as well as her sister- and brothers-in-law, are heartbroken at the sudden departure of their beloved sister. Maly also leaves behind her adored nieces and nephews (John, Bridget, Sara, Ryan, Kali, Caitlin, Elliot and Tommy) with whom she enjoyed sharing her skills and passion for cooking, creative crafts, Easter egg hunts, "Survivor" challenges, and more. She also leaves behind two precious grandnephews, Quinn and Emmett Bohdi. Maly will be remembered by her family and numerous lifelong friends and colleagues for her creativity and imagination, her generous gifts of her time and talent in baking, costume design and production, and event planning, and her general love of life and laughter. Memories of good times shared with Maly will be our blessing. Family and friends are invited to join at a funeral Mass on Sunday, September 1st, at 2 pm, at The Church of St. Francis Xavier, West 16th Street, between 5th and 6th Avenues, NY, NY.
