Clyma G Smith

Clyma G. Smith , 84, passed away peacefully at home in Semmes on Friday, July 6, 2018. Devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she is preceded in death by her husband, Reuben Melton Smith, Jr.; son, Timothy Andrew Smith; and 12 siblings of the Swindle-Rogers family.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her children, Peggy Mae (Edward) Hagar; William Richard (Debra) Smith; Deborah S. (Richard) Bell; Melton Dale Smith; and Kimberly S. (Raymond) Hunt; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one great, great-grandchild; as well as other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Smith was an avid gardener and loved to cook for her family. She worked in retail in Mobile most of her life.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 9, 2018 at Christ United Methodist Church at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Rob Couch officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Spring Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
