Mr. George “JR” Turk a native of Flomaton, Al and a resident of Eight Mile, Al died on Thursday May 21, 2015 at a local hospital. Mr. Turk is survived by his wife Marie Turk, four children Cathy Dean, Ann Nichols, Faye Funderburk, and Frank Lane Singleton, his brother Curtis Turk, fourteen grandchildren, twenty eight great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the graveside on Tuesday May 26, 2015 at 2PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday May 26, 2015 from 1 until 2PM. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
