
Mary Cecilia Duncan Pace, born October 16, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky died January 28, 2019 in Mobile, Alabama. Mary graduated from Shawe Memorial High School in Madison, Indiana in 1960. She married Jose Robles Rangel of Guanajuato, Mexico and had 4 children. She later divorced and married George Pace, Jr. of Elwood, Indiana. She graduated from Ancilla Domini College in Northern Indiana with a degree in liberal arts and started working for ManPower. In November 1996, she and George were in an accident that left her with impaired breathing abilities and bone pain for the rest of her life. Even with these physical problems, Mary remained very active in the Catholic Church and made friends easily where ever she went. She also was a counselor for CASA near Leiters Ford, Indiana. She was an inspiration and a light that burned bright for all that knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her father, Alva Duncan, her mother, Nellie Winona Demaree Duncan, and her son David Joseph Rangel. She is survived by her Daughter, Angela Maria Rangel, her sons, Joseph Anthony and Paul Joseph Rangel, grandchildren, Gabriel Rangel, Jacob Rangel, Aidan Rangel, Addison Rangel and Zoe Rangel, her sisters Patricia Patrick and Margaret Smith, and her two brothers Willis Francis and Alva Demaree Duncan.
Services will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes February 5, 2019 at 6:00 pm, and a funeral service will be held at St. Thomas in Fortville, Indiana on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m.
