Edward worked for the State of Alabama Department of Transportation and enjoyed fishing in his free time.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Angela Jane Blalock and his parents, Edward Charles and Willetta Brown Blalock.
He is survived by his brothers, Warren Blalock and David Blalock and a number of other family members and friends.
