AÑADIR UN RECUERDO

One memory I will never forget is anytime we would go over for a holiday to eat he would always say to me: "Hey Steff, you like (He'd name any random flavor) pie?" as if we'd be eating that for dessert and I'd respond with a "yeah!" and he'd respond with "Yeah, me too. We don't have any though."

Also, he'd always say "I don't trust anybody who don't ...." and he could end that sentence anyway he wanted. "Who don't like Carrot Cake, Who don't like fishing, Who don't like the Saints, etc." Anything to make you laugh.

Don't forget when the kids would got bored. There was always the thumbs game!! And if you get bored with that you can always make them go the other direction and even sometimes fight each other!!

We love you Jack and We Miss You!!

I was his niece... his sister, my mother, Jenny, died a month after I turned 4. Due to family circumstances, I lost a lot of family interaction until I got way older. Later in years when I finally got to know him.... he was my rock. I can say this and include my sister. He always called us by both of our names, Donna Sue and Kathy Lynn. I grew to adore him. He shared more with me about our mother and our family than anyone else. Our phone calls were so very precious. I will miss those as much as I will miss him. I found that he was certainly the rock of our family. He always made me laugh and sometimes cry. Such a beautiful man and uncle, father and grandfather. I will meet you one day Uncle Jack... with giant open arms. I love you and will treasure what we shared in your last years. Forever in my heart.

When I first meet him I said "whats up?" and ever since then, that's how we would greet each other. We talked about Tennessee all the time. He was absolutely my favorite person, always had jokes.

Poppie was the light in a room. Whether it be him calling you anything but your name or showing you a card trick. I remember when he first showed me 52 pick up. I was around 7 then. He loved to love people. He always wanted to know what was going on in the world so he always watched CNN from dusk til dawn. He was always grateful for the family who he had and still has. He loved to listen to George Jones. I remember one day I sung him a song by George and he loved it (even though my singing voice is terrible). I miss him so much but I know he’s at ease now. He’s not in anymore pain or struggling. I love you poppie. Didy loves and misses you too.

Love, “Snooter”
