Randall William Redford, age 71, died on July 28, 2018, in New Braunfels, Texas. Randy was born on September 9, 1946, at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, to parents Carroll and Lillian Redford. He was a proud graduate from Canyon High School in New Braunfels in 1964, and went to San Antonio College for computer processing. He married Edith Karstetter in 1967, and the couple had two loving daughters together. Randy was a great family man and a loving father. Randy was an active man who was deeply involved in heavy equipment for the majority of his life. He enjoyed farming, hunting, building, and working on all sorts of vehicles. His family and friends will always remember him as a fair, honest, and hardworking man.
Randy is survived by his wife Edith Redford, of New Braunfels, Texas; his daughters Deborah (Randy) Rice, and Nicole (David) Berry of Schertz, Texas; and his sister Deborah (Jesse) Rosalas of Schertz, Texas; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carroll and Lillian Redford of Schertz, Texas.
A Public Visitation will take place Friday, August 3, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Zoeller Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 4, 2018, at Zoeller Funeral Home, followed by a procession to Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Following the burial, a Reception will be held at Zoeller Funeral Home.
