Douglas was born August of 1955 in Lafayette to the late Eldridge Joseph Faulk and the late Laura Mae Vincent Faulk. He lived a simple life filled with friends, french music and dancing. He made his rounds visiting everyone at LaSalle Gas and then on to the St. Francis Diner where he would have a meal and visit with his friends. Some of his favorite French music was songs that his grandfather sung and he enjoyed dancing just as much as listening. He will be missed dearly by his family. Rest well Douglas.
Survivors include his sister and brothers, Theresa Faulk, Daniel Faulk and Buford Faulk; his sister-in-law, Mona Faulk; and his nieces and nephews, Petra Faulk, Sara Fontenot, Melinda Faulk, Billy Faulk, Shawn Faulk, Jason Faulk, and Devin Faulk.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Lee Faulk.
Private services were held for Douglas.
