Jacquelyn S. Lochbaum

Jacquelyn S. Lochbaum, 89, a resident of Houma for the past 62 years, died Monday, June 11, 2018. She was born in New Orleans to the late Irwin F. Sentilles and Dorothy A. Sentilles. Jacquelyn was also preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Aloysius A. Lochbaum; sons, Randall A. Lochbaum and Ronald F. Lochbaum; brothers, Irwin F. Sentilles, II, Seth S. Sentilles and Saar J. Sentilles and sisters, Dorothy S. Eanes and Joyce S. Bourg. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela L. Bonvillain (James), Peggy L. Lirette, Patricia L. Hoerner (Steven) and Paula L. Galtier (Scott); grandchildren, Mark J. (Ashliegh) and Matthew R. (Brooke-Ashlee) Bonvillain, Christopher D. (Jessica) Lirette, Sarah L. (Justin) Soileau, Margaret G., Elizabeth M. and Victoria L. Hoerner, Seth M., Olivia A. and William S. Galtier; great grandchildren, Riley-Grace M. and Matthew J. Bonvillain, Nathan T., Emma C. and Sophia G. Lirette and Stella M. Soileau; sister, Winona S. Mayo and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jacquelyn was a graduate of Kenner High School and attended Soule Business College. She was primarily a homemaker but also worked at Ochsner Foundation Hospital at Camp Plauche in Harahan, LA and D. H. Holmes in Houma, LA. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church in Houma, LA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a public visitation at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd., New Orleans, on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, from 5pm until 8pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 6666 Spanish Fort Blvd., New Orleans, on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 11am with visitation from 9am until service time followed by interment in Metairie Cemetery.
