Peggy Mosel died on May 26th 2018 at her home in North Fort Myers at the age of 90. Peggy was born in Bellwood Pennsylvania in 1928. She graduated from Bellwood High School In 1946. She and her husband Bob married in 1950 and lived in Pennsylvania, later moving to Rochester New York and then settling in North Fort Myers Florida.
Peggy was hired at Lee County Electric Co-op for a temporary position and ended up staying for 31 years when she retired. She had strong work ethics and sometimes could be tough as a supervisor and expected the best but still managed to have fun.
She was a founding member of Amvets Post 81 Auxiliary and it's first Treasurer.
Peggy had an infectious gift of humor and quick-wittedness. If she couldn't have fun she didn't want to go. She said her gift was to make someone laugh or smile everyday. She loved to play bingo, cards, left right center, loved clouds, the dog track, Heavenly Pizza to get her personal size anchovy pizza, Stamatis for her waffle and chip beef gravy, Butch's to get kraut dogs and onion strings, Smokin Pit for her mushroom burger and cheese sticks and giving Keith a hard time, loved her yellow 2003 VW bug that matched her personality, cashiering for Wednesday night dinners at church, making phone calls for prayer requests, going to Pennsylvania and Ohio to see family and friends. Why even during her five hospital stays since February even the nurses hated to see her leave their floor, through all she had been through she always managed to put a smile on everyone else's face including her own.
Peggy is survived by her daughter Pam (Andre) Lemieux. Peggy never considered Andre a son-in-law, she thought of him as a son. She is also survived by her grandcat Sam, her only remaining sister Jean Wertz of Hollidaysburg Pennsylvania, many nieces including Mary Ellen Jones and Gretta Czap of Tyrone Pennsylvania, niece Peggy (Rod) Young of Altoona Pennsylvania and Nancy Kerr of Altoona Pennsylvania and many nephews including Bill Wertz of Dysart Pennsylvania, her extended LCEC family including Sylvia Haley, Manny Crawford, Buddy Gay, Larry and Martha Hammond, Linda Redmond Davis, Don Nicholson, her "other daughters" Terri Smith, Jan Tianello, Marty Crotty, Kathy Long, Sheila Sarver, Susan Carnwath, Lisa Yeatter, Bonnie Motsay and Gerri Matthews, her original Victoria Drive neighbors Chuck, Annette and Ronnie Blough and Leroy and Bonnie Nottingham, card playing buddies Real and Mary Lemieux and her Amvet Post 81 family including Susan Leveron and Robert Gates.
Peggy was predeceased by her parents John and Mary Estep, ten of her siblings, ex husband Bob Mosel, good friends Jack Cava, Roy Walter, Iris Hubbard, Flo Johnson, Alma King and many other friends and church family.
A huge thanks to Pastor Benny Anthony, Jan Tianello, Jim and Sue Haynes, Jack Merchant, Marge Ellsworth, Jimmy Hunt, bingo buddies Polly and Marie, Robert Lemieux, Sean and Elisabeth Lemieux, Kathy Long, Manny and Gwen Crawford, nurse Cindy, James Damanti and neighbors Rick and Ellen Kannaly for coming by Saturday to say goodbye to our precious "Ma".

We'll all see you again someday Ma! We know you are probably shaking things up in Heaven and it's been said that you are collecting six dollars to get in just like you did at Wednesday night church dinners! Oh and Ma "You Sure Are Pretty"!
Thanks for loving up on mom through the years. She was easy to love wasn't she?
