Robert Allen Marshall, 74, of Punta Gorda, died August 29, 2016. "Bob" Marshall, son of William and Lillie Mae Marshall, passed away on August 29th at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, FL after a long battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Carolyn and two daughters, Buffie Marshall and Tammie Miller and son-in-law King Miller. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Avery Mayfield, Alexa Miller and Sam Miller, all living in OK. For 30 years Bob taught at FSU and retired as Professor Emeritus in 2006. He loved sailing and playing golf. He will be greatly missed by his family, many friends and students whose lives he touched.
