

Lowell Franklin Fairley, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 5, 2011. He was 77. Mr. Fairley was a graduate of Treadwell High School and attended the University of Memphis. Mr. Fairley served in the United States Navy and retired from the United States Postal Service as a systems analyst in 1988. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Nadine Fairley; son, Frank (Sherri); son, Drew (Heather); two brothers, Paul (Carolyn) and Jim (Lynda); four loving granddaughters and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Mr. Fairley was active at Getwell Road United Methodist Church in Southaven and enjoyed playing golf, fishing, watching his Tigers play, working out at the DAC, tinkering in his shop, helping others, making people laugh and spending time with family and friends. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 8, at Brantley Funeral Home in Olive Branch. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 9, at Getwell Road United Methodist Church in Southaven. He will be laid to rest at Autumn Woods Memorial Park in Olive Branch. The family requests any memorials be sent to Getwell Road United Methodist Church.
