Barbara Nedrow-Toth

Barb was the heart of the family. She was always welcoming, kind, generous and supportive. She had a smile, laugh and sense of humor that you couldn’t help falling in love with. Barb was always there for anyone that needed advise, an ear to listen, or a shoulder to cry on, never expecting anything in return. She was a big sister to everyone. Barb graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest in 1973. She worked for Montgomery Ward and General Electric. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church, Basehor, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mark Nedrow; parents, George and Martha Schroeger; brother, Paul (Roseanne) Schroeger and sister, Susan (Larry) Cronin.

Barb is survived by her husband, Daniel Toth; step-son, Brent Toth; brothers, Mark (Kathy) Schroeger, Michael (Doris) Schroeger, and Matthew (Rachel) Schroeger; sisters, Mary (Cliff) Thomas, Anne (Richard) Hoelting, and Elizabeth (David) Johnson; as well as many nieces, nephews; and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, July 21st, with the Rosary at 5:30 pm at the McGilley & Hoge Chapel, 8024 Santa Fe Drive, Overland Park, Kansas 66204. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am on Thursday, July 22nd at Holy Angeles Catholic Church, 15440 Leavenworth Road, Basehor, Kansas 66007. Burial will follow in Holy Angels Cemetery, Tonganoxie, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society and/or Holy Angles Catholic Church.
