Agnes Louise Watson Brown

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2013, at Bethel United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Hill, Rev. Forrest Weekley, and Mike Riley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery under the direction of Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 31, 2013, from 5-7 p.m. at Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home.

Agnes Louise Brown was born October 8, 1931 in Dale County, Alabama, daughter of Taylor Robert and Lilly Mae Hutto Watson. She was a lifelong resident of Dale County, Alabama and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Franklin Brown, two sons: Stephen Franklin Brown and Michael Floyd Brown; and three grandsons: Thomas Brown, Jr., Stephen Duane Brown and Dennis Brown.

Survivors include two daughters: Linda Grantham (Danny) of Echo, AL and Patsey Brown of Oklahoma City, OK; three sons: Gary H. Brown (Vickie) of Ozark, AL, Thomas Brown (Tammie) of Dothan, AL and Samuel Scott Brown of Ozark, AL; one sister, Ann Woodham, of Dothan, AL; one brother, Jesse Watson, Jr., of Atlanta, GA; 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
