Winifred DiAndrea

Winifred (Freddie) R. DiAndrea, age 78, of Berwyn passed away peacefully on January 14, 2023 after a short illness, with her family by her side. Freddie was born April 23, 1944 in Bay City, MI and moved to Berwyn with her family when she was a junior in high school. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Berwyn Fire Department for many years. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, knitting, cooking, bingo, organizing numerous casino trips, and loved visiting historical places. Freddie was the beloved wife of Anthony DiAndrea Jr. The two were married on August 17, 1963. Together they shared 59 loving years of marriage. She was the devoted mother of Michael DiAndrea & his wife Amanda of Berwyn, Tony DiAndrea of Berwyn, Lisa DiAndrea-Thomas & husband Craig of Crosby, TX, and Jennifer DiAndrea of Coatesville. Freddie was also the loving grandmother to Kimberly, Amy, Tyler, Victoria, Ryan, Alex, Andrew, Stephanie, Jason, Jesse, & Kyle as well as 6 great grandchildren. Freddie is also survived by many close extended family and friends who loved her dearly. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during visiting hours on Saturday January 21, 2023 from 11am-1pm at the Trinity Presbyterian Church. 640 Berwyn Ave. Berwyn, PA. A Celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 pm immediately following the visitation. The family invites everyone to attend a luncheon afterwards. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Freddie’s honor to the American Heart Association.
