Geneva Kathaleen Knight

Geneva was born February 18, 1922 in Parkersburg, WV to William McKinley and Ruby {Henthorn} Archer.

She worked at Corning Glass and Camden Clark Hospital, delivered “Meals on Wheels”, was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and attended Fairlawn Baptist Church.

She married John D. Knight in 1982 and was married for 37 years.

Geneva will be deeply missed by her husband; John, daughters; Joann McKay and Ruby “Sharon” Pursley both of Parkersburg, son; Charles E. “Buddy” Yoho of Fairmont and seven grandchildren.

Geneva was preceded in death by her sister, Lona Coss and brothers, Dale, Bill and Jack Archer.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Funeral services will be Monday, August 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Chaplain Randall Fuson officiating. Interment will be at Sunset Memory Gardens.
