Virginia Grace Gains

She was born January 19, 1937, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late William H. and Loretta (Conrad) Norman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Gains; two grandchildren; one brother and one sister.

Virginia was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her kids and grandchildren. She also enjoyed baking, crocheting and pottery.

Left to cherish her memory is her sons Robert Gains II and his wife Brenda of Belpre, OH, Paul Gains and his wife Angela of Parkersburg; brother Terry Norman; sister Betty Jacks; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Service will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 4, 2018, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
