Joan Arlene Dixon

JOAN A. DIXON, 67, went to be with the Lord on April 22, 2014 at Amber Park Assisted Living. She was born March 27, 1947 in Columbus, OH, a daughter to the late Arlow and Ruby Heskett. Joan was a member at Outville Presbyterian Church and Eastern Star. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Melissa (Christopher) Meacham; grandchildren, Makenna and Jaeden Meacham; sisters, Diana (Alan) Skuza and Deborah (Dolphus) Lee; Niece, Stacey (Keith) and Deanna; nephews, Brian (Xanica) and David; Aunts, Peggy Altizer and Pauline Pickens. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dixon. Joan truly valued her friendships with those at Amber Park, her various care givers, fellow church members and all those who brought joy to her life. Friends may call from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at KAUBER-SAMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 289 S. Main Street, Pataskala, OH 43062 where there will be an Eastern Star service at 4:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Monday at Outville Presbyterian Church, 6463 Outville Rd SW, Pataskala, OH 43062, at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Steve Merrill officiating. Interment at Pataskala Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Mount Carmel Hopice, 1144 Dublin Rd, Columbus, OH 43215 in memory of Joan.
