Joan was a Curator for Collector's Corner Antique Shop in Sharpsburg, GA.
Survivors include her loving husband of almost 60 years, Jack Smith; beloved daughters, Dana Acquaire (James) and Robyn Ortiz (Gary); and her grandchildren, Michael Ortiz, Gunnar Acquaire, and Zackary Acquaire.
Joan will be so dearly missed by her family and friends but, she will always live on in their hearts forever. Please feel free to share your favorite memories or photos with the family.
Graveside services will be held on June 18, 2021 at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. This is a charity that was near and dear to her heart. Her grandson, Zackary, is a patient there and he was the apple of her eye.
