Born August 18, 1911 in Topeka, KS to Roy and Elizabeth (Hedrick) Miller, she married James R. White, Sr. on December 14, 1941 in Cahokia, MO. He preceded her in death on May 17, 1989 in Peoria.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Judith; two sons, Bob and Bill; one sister and two brothers.
Surviving are two sons, James R. (Sara) White, Jr. of Creve Coeur, Raymond R. (Alisha) White of Pekin; one daughter, Linda (Everett) Eggers of Peoria; thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Edna enjoyed cooking, gardening, traveling and taking care of her family.
Her graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Morton. There will be no visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
