Elida Reynosa

She was very loving and kind, always reaching out to help those in need. Elida worked for several years at the former Holy Cross Hospital as an x-ray technician and then went to work at St. David’s for nearly 20 years working in both the x-ray and neonatal departments. She was a longtime member of Betania Baptist Church where she taught Elementary Sunday School for many years. In her free time, Elida enjoyed sewing, reading, doing puzzles and spoiling her grandchildren.

Elida was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers and four sisters. Those left to cherish her memory include her son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Rhonda Reynosa; grandchildren, Erik Smith, Jacob Reynosa and Megan Reynosa; and sister, Emma Torres.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 24, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home with funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Cemetery.
