She was born in Reading on May 2, 1935 a daughter of the late Harvey and Frankie (Quick) Tyson.
Margaret was employed as a nurses aid and then as an LPN for West Chester County Medical Center in New York, working there since 1965.
She is survived by her sister-in-laws, Mary Tyson widow of Kenneth Sr, Carol Tyson widow of Harold Sr both of Reading, her nephew Gerard Tyson of Muhlenberg Township, and her niece, Brenda wife of Martin Simmons of Reading.
Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Margaret was predeceased by her companion, James West, and her 2 brothers, Robert L Tyson, and Roosevelt Tyson.
Services will be Friday August 14, 2015 at 1pm in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 390 W Neversink Rd., Reiffton. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be Friday 12-1pm in the funeral home.
