Glenwood Lee Dail

DAIL, Glenwood L., 75, of Sandston, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, August 2, 2018. Born in Hertford, N.C., he was preceded in death by his parents, Susie and Rennie Dail. He leaves his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Ann. He also leaves three children, Deborah, Rachel and Brian (Suzanne); grandchildren, Tiffany, Steffany and Maria; a loving sister, Leo Winslow of North Carolina; a host of nieces, nephews and many dear friends and neighbors. Glen proudly served in the U.S. Army, active and reserves. Glen retired from Philip Morris after 28 years of service. He enjoyed his retirement by restoring antique tractors, participating in parades and local tractor pulls with his friends. He was an active member of Sandston Baptist Church. The family wishes to thank their many friends for all the love, thoughts and prayers. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, August 6, 2018, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 7, 2018. In lieu of flowers, consider donating in support of cancer research.
