Teresa L. Deen

Teresa L. Deen, 83, of Rockford, IL, passed away peacefully, Sunday morning, January 29, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 10, 1939 in Corning, AR, the daughter of Robert L. and Alma (Porter) Crown. Teresa married the love of her life, Willis Deen, on December 9, 1955. She was employed as a line leader at John S. Barnes, now known as Concentric. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, gardening and camping. She loved going to garage sales with her daughter-in-laws. Most of all, she adored her family, especially her grandchildren.

Teresa is loved and missed by her children, Terry (Lynn) Deen and Larry Deen; son-in-law, Mike Patton; grandchildren, Terri Jo, Kristin, Nikki, Jacob, Zachary, Eric, Jessica, Christopher, Andrea, Michelle, Danielle and Autumn; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Bobby Crown and Roberta Ballard; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Willis; daughter, Sherry Patton; daughter-in-law, Vickie Deen and brothers, Julian and Ronnie Crown.
