Calvin Alfred John Geldbach of Florissant, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the age of 94. Calvin was born in Oakville, Missouri. Dear son of the late John and Louise Geldbach. Beloved husband of E. Katharine Metze Geldbach. Loving father of Wanda Hagerty, Brenda Fung, Pamela (Mike) Coffey, Janice Koontz, Susan Moore, Gail Merisotes, Carol Denson, Wayne Geldbach and Steven (Pam) Geldbach and stepfather of Robert (Nancy) Metze and Heidi (Ray) Nabzdyk. Cherished grandfather of Christine, Patrick (Theresa), Rebecca (Adam), Jack (Rebeca), Michael, Kate, Timothy, Christopher, Stacey, Jennifer, Athena, Kelly (Andrew), Benjamin (Candece), Gary Jr., Jeremy (Katie), Kyle, Karli (Montay), Tony, Erin (Kevin), Dalton, Brittany and the late Daniel and Melanie. Dear great grandfather of 30 and great great grandfather of 3. Dearest brother of the late Eloise Winheim, John H. Geldbach, Warren Geldbach and Melvin Geldbach. Dear brother-in-law of Walter (the late Mary) Schmierbach, Evelyn (the late Richard) Prediger, and the late John (survived by Sonia) Schmierbach and Ruth (survived by Carl) Schroeder. Our dear step grandfather, uncle, great uncle, cousin and dear friend to many.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery. Friends and family will gather at 9:45 a.m. at the rear of Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, Missouri 63125.
