My Father in Law Chilo had a great Love for Family and Friends. Always in a happy mood. We both shared a love for the outdoors and he would often take me to different parts of Uvalde to see the river, camps and old land. I often called him "Chilo Dundee" after seeing some of the crazy things that occur around their ranch. I will miss our trips to the coast, we shared some good memories that will live forever in my heart.
Love you and miss you

Ric and family—Our thoughts and love are with you during this time. When a loved one gains his heavenly wings it is both a sad time for the family and time of celebration for the loved one. He has found peace and solace and awaits a joyous reunion with you at a later date.

One of the common tragedies in life is the loss of a grandparent so early in a grandchild’s lifetime. Just because it is a common occurrence doesn't make it easy. Grandparents are the wise ones and tend to know exactly what to say at the right time, if only they can be here when we need them most to talk us through the heartache of losing them. We have so many great memories with grandpa and our hope is that we can celebrate the life that grandpa lived. We believe that it’s all the little things we did and shared with grandpa that matter the most and that bond will never end, regardless of the situation. Grandpa was such a blessing that we don't get to keep our entire lives, but we do get to keep his legacy alive with the way we live our lives going forward. Our hope is for us all to eventually attain the level of life accomplishment and character that he did. He was a role-model in so many ways and was loved by so many and having those memories that were made with him in love will stay with us forever. He was a great man, an even better grandpa and we will carry him in our hearts always.

With Great Love & Loss,
Gabriel, Jennifer & Lucas Corrales
